We can help make your project a successful one. Below are some points to consider for a community build project. Your Superior Play Recreation Consultant will assist you by providing items such as the prebuild agenda and tools needed list and addressing questions and concerns throughout your playground project.

• Be sure all documents and plans are in order:  Are the plans, specifications and drawings understood and accurate? Are there any approvals that need to be obtained?

• Storage:  Where can the playground items be stored until build day?

• Prepare the construction site:  Can the construction site be accessed by the appropriate heavy equipment? Is the site prepared and excavated appropriately. Are food and restrooms available for volunteers?

• Scheduling:  Are there an appropriate number of volunteers for the job? What jobs need to be done first?

• Site clean-up:  Be sure to schedule volunteers for clean-up as well. Where will dirt, packing materials, and any old equipment be disposed of?

• Celebrate:  You’ve completed the job! Celebrate with a playground grand opening.
